New Zealand – Matariki (Maori New Year)

We remember our ancestors who passed away,
Growing in love, talk, and joy on this day!
Matariki is the Māori name for a cluster of stars that appears in the winter sky, marking the start of the Māori New Year.

Philippines – Sinulog Festival

The Cebu festival is beautiful beyond compare!
This grand festival began in the 1500s when the ruler of Cebu was given a historic statue of the child Jesus.
